What is Order Desk?
Order Desk is a hosted order management system that allows you to integrate your store’s workflow with many other third-party providers.
Why you should integrate Order Desk with Gearment?
Order Desk can import orders from your shopping cart(s), sync in your print details, and then automatically send them on to Gearment for fulfillment. When orders are shipped, the tracking details will be sent back to the Order Desk and back to your shopping cart if your store is set up for it.
How to set up and use the Gearment integration?
- Set up
Click Manage Integrations under the Integrations menu on the left of the navigation bar
Then, search for Gearment from the available integration search.
Enter your API credentials from Gearment and click to complete the connection.
These can be found in your Gearment account, go to Settings and then API Credentials. If you’re having trouble finding your credentials, please contact your rep from Gearment.
Note: Order Desk support is not able to help with finding or resetting your Gearment credentials, as they are created and provided by Gearment.
- Integrate Settings
Once connected, you’ll have some shipment and integration settings to adjust per your preferences.
Default Mail Class
Choose the mail class you want Gearment to use for your orders. If you need to apply specific methods for certain orders, match your method names to their names in the Shipping Class Match section below.
After Import, Move To
Choose the folder you want orders to be moved into after they are successfully sent to Gearment. You can use one of the default folders already in your store or create your own. Read the Working with Folders guide for more information.
After Shipment, Move To
Choose the folder you want orders to be moved into after Gearmnet sends shipment details back to Order Desk
If Canceled, Move to
Select the folder orders should be moved to if they are canceled at Gearment.
Send Customer Email Address to Gearment
Select if you want the email address sent to Gearment with each order.

- Shipping Class Match
Using the shipping class match feature, you can match as many different shipping methods as you offer to the methods Gearment uses to ensure your customers are getting the closest shipping option to what they selected at checkout.

- Sending Orders To Gearment

Preparing Your Items
The following fields can be set as variations or item metadata for each item in an order.
